If you are buying, you're winning. If you're selling, you're winning.
In times like these, it is important to celebrate the small wins and the courage it took to make that stride . So, with that being said I have good news! If you are a fan of real estate, or are an investor, or first time home buyer or maybe even a homeowner thinking of selling, 2021 might be the year for you.
Why you may ask? Well, here’s 4 reasons why!
2020 created a demand that the current supply couldn’t support. What does that mean? Too many buyers not enough homes. The homes that were on the market were swept up almost as soon as they hit the market. Why is that good as a homeowner? Well, don’t you want your home to sell quickly? Timing is important and seizing opportunity is crucial.
Interest rates are incredibly low. They had dropped to the lowest that they had ever been in the history of banking. Insane right? What did low interest rates cause? What providing low interest rates did was it helped create a massive buyer pool, ready, willing, qualified and able to withstand the test of time.
Will interest rates still be low in 2021? The way it is on our end, all signs repointing towards yes. People are still being comfortable spending, going out and making these huge investments. There just isn’t enough homes to supply the buyers. What does it mean when that happens?
Buyers are left with not too many options, a stack of cash, and no home to spend it on.
Sellers are looking at sometimes up to multiple offers, higher sale price, and possibly even bidding wars.
If you’re buying you’re winning. If you’re selling you’re winning. That has been the trend in real estate for the past year or so. It’s a win-win market. Buyers are getting their dream homes at record low interest rates and sellers are selling in record speed for close to asking price if not above. If you are thinking of selling take this as a sign. Do it. If you have been thinking of buying and are ready, do it.
2021 is going to be a brighter year. One where we will be closer to one another. A year, where we can look at each other, smile and just shake our heads and laugh. We won’t forget what 2020 was and we certainly won’t forget what 2020 has taught us. It taught us; How to be kind. How to show compassion. How to face adversity and triumph over it. How to save. How to invest and last but definitely not least, how to be stronger. You got this… We got this.
