Common questions when leasing? Straight forward.

Don’t forget the milk…

We all have questions when moving or contemplating on moving.

For instance, do you really know your area of desire? How far are you willing to travel for the closest Whole Foods, Sprouts, or Pavillions for your groceries. Are you avidly on public transportation? How close is the nearest Metro Station, Bus Stop, Subway Station etc? Do you love Indian food but you don’t know that you are actually looking in a borough that is filled with just Thai & Vietnamese food. Things like these will easily escape your mind when mesmerized by all the pretty lights and shiny appliances, but it is things like this that will become inconveniences to you when you are all settled in and locked into your agreement.

When home/apartment shopping keep a list of things you need/want/and can’t live without, almost like a handy pocket guide you can call it ‘Tims Guide to Living’ (patent pending). The night before going on your showings sit down with someone who knows you the best and can help you make this list. Trust me being this detailed and direct will help your process move a lot smoother.

Also, if you didn’t know now you know, lease prices CAN BE NEGOTIATED. There are variables that come into play such as how long said unit has been on the market, current conditions of property, market conditions, etc. If you have a question on a property please feel free to email, call or text, or you can just go to my contact page and message me through there. It is way easier and faster. I can research the property and let you know what you can ask for it, I can even set up an appointment.
